* According to the current understanding of distribution, Fin, Minke and Sei whales are not present in the Northern Indian ocean.
Young Sousa plumbea (Indian Ocean humpback dolphin) stranded in Dahanu, North Maharashtra on the 23rd July 2017. The animal was identified based on images. No other details were obtained
